Ravens Secure Back-to-Back AFC North Titles With Dominant Win Over Browns

The Baltimore Ravens clinched their second consecutive AFC North title with a decisive 35-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on January 4, 2025. This win not only secured the division championship but also earned the Ravens the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson delivered an impressive performance, completing 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. This achievement made him the first player in NFL history to surpass 4,000 passing yards and 900 rushing yards in a single season. Running back Derrick Henry also contributed significantly, rushing for 138 yards and scoring two touchdowns, including a 43-yard run in the fourth quarter.

The Ravens' defense was equally formidable. Rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins intercepted a pass from Bailey Zappe and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown, setting the tone early in the game. Additionally, veteran cornerback Marlon Humphrey sealed the victory with a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

With this win, the Ravens finished the regular season with a 12-5 record, overcoming an 0-2 start and a challenging schedule that included several playoff-bound teams. Their resilience and strong finish highlighted their readiness for the postseason.

Looking ahead, the Ravens are set to host a Wild Card playoff game, aiming to advance further in the postseason and capitalize on their momentum from the regular season. The team's balanced offense and stout defense position them as formidable contenders in the AFC.
