Ravens Secure Back-to-Back AFC North Titles With Dominant Win Over Browns

The Baltimore Ravens clinched their second consecutive AFC North title with a decisive 35-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on January 4, 2025. This win not only secured the division championship but also earned the Ravens the AFC's No. 3 seed in the playoffs.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson delivered an impressive performance, completing 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. This achievement made him the first player in NFL history to surpass 4,000 passing yards and 900 rushing yards in a single season. Running back Derrick Henry was also instrumental, rushing for 138 yards and scoring two touchdowns, including a 43-yard run in the fourth quarter.

The Ravens' defense played a pivotal role in the victory. Rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins intercepted a pass from Bailey Zappe and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown, setting the tone early in the game. Additionally, veteran cornerback Marlon Humphrey sealed the win with a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Head coach John Harbaugh expressed pride in his team's resilience, noting their ability to overcome an 0-2 start and a challenging schedule to finish the season strong. He emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming Wild Card game, stating, "I’m focused on the wild-card game, I’m not going to lie to you."

Looking ahead, the Ravens are set to host a Wild Card playoff game, aiming to advance further in the postseason. With a strong finish to the regular season and key players performing at a high level, Baltimore is poised to make a deep playoff run.
