Ravens Secure AFC North Title With Dominant 35-10 Victory Over Browns

The Baltimore Ravens clinched their second consecutive AFC North title with a decisive 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes and surpassed 4,000 passing yards for the season, while running back Derrick Henry added two fourth-quarter touchdowns, solidifying the Ravens' dominance.

Jackson completed 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards, finishing the regular season with 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdowns. He also contributed 63 rushing yards on nine carries. Henry, in his first season with the Ravens, rushed for 138 yards on 20 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He concluded the regular season with 1,921 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.

The Ravens' defense was equally impressive, starting the game with an interception returned for a touchdown by cornerback Nate Wiggins. The defense also forced two fumbles from Browns quarterback Bailey Zappe, who completed 16 of 31 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown but also threw two interceptions.

With the victory, the Ravens secured the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs and will host a first-round game against either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Pittsburgh Steelers. This marks the fourth division title of Jackson's career and the sixth under head coach John Harbaugh, who has been with the team since 2008.

Looking ahead, the Ravens are focused on their postseason journey, aiming to build on their strong finish to the regular season. Jackson emphasized the importance of staying focused on the upcoming challenges, stating, “I’m focused on the wild-card game, I’m not going to lie to you.”

The Ravens' victory also highlights the team's resilience, overcoming an 0-2 start to finish the season with a 12-5 record. Their strong performance in the latter half of the season positions them as a formidable contender in the AFC playoffs.
