Ravens Secure AFC North Title With 35-10 Victory Over Browns

The Baltimore Ravens clinched their second consecutive AFC North title with a decisive 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on January 4, 2025. The victory not only secured the division championship but also ensured the Ravens the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson delivered an impressive performance, completing 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 63 rushing yards on nine carries, becoming the first player in NFL history to surpass 4,000 passing yards and 900 rushing yards in a single season.

Running back Derrick Henry was instrumental in the Ravens' offensive success, rushing for 138 yards on 20 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Henry finished the regular season with 1,921 rushing yards and 18 total touchdowns, solidifying his impact in his first year with Baltimore.

The Ravens' defense also made significant contributions, starting the game with an interception returned for a touchdown by cornerback Nate Wiggins. This early turnover set the tone for the game and provided a substantial lead that the Browns could not overcome.

With the win, the Ravens concluded the regular season with a 12-5 record, overcoming an 0-2 start and a challenging schedule to secure the division title. Their four-game winning streak to end the season demonstrated their resilience and readiness for the postseason.

Looking ahead, the Ravens are set to host a home playoff game against either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Pittsburgh Steelers. Head coach John Harbaugh emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming wild-card game, expressing confidence in his team's ability to perform under pressure.
