Ravens Secure AFC North Title With 35-10 Victory Over Browns
The Baltimore Ravens clinched their second consecutive AFC North title with a decisive 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes, surpassing 4,000 passing yards for the season, while running back Derrick Henry added a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Jackson completed 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards, finishing the regular season with 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdowns. He also contributed 63 rushing yards on nine carries. Henry, in his first season with the Ravens, rushed for 138 yards on 20 carries, bringing his season total to 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.
The Ravens' defense was also instrumental in the victory, limiting the Browns to just 10 points. Cleveland's quarterback, Bailey Zappe, completed 16 of 31 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown but threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown by Baltimore.
With the win, the Ravens secured the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs and will host a first-round game against either the Los Angeles Chargers or Pittsburgh Steelers. This victory also marked the Ravens' fourth consecutive win, following a mid-season slump that saw them start 0-2.
Looking ahead, the Ravens are focused on their postseason prospects. Head coach John Harbaugh emphasized the importance of taking it one game at a time, stating, "It's awesome, it's an awesome thing. It's a week-to-week league, and you really just have to take it one week at a time, one day at a time, one play at a time, and our guys have done a really good job of holding on to that."
