Ravens Secure AFC North Title With 35-10 Victory Over Browns; Jackson Surpasses 4,000 Passing Yards

The Baltimore Ravens clinched their second consecutive AFC North title with a decisive 35-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes and surpassed 4,000 passing yards for the season, while running back Derrick Henry added two fourth-quarter touchdowns, solidifying the Ravens' dominance.

Jackson completed 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards, finishing the regular season with 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdown passes against just four interceptions. He also contributed 63 rushing yards on nine carries. Henry, in his first season with the Ravens, rushed for 138 yards on 20 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He concluded the regular season with 1,921 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.

The Ravens' defense was also instrumental in the victory, starting the game with an interception returned for a touchdown by cornerback Nate Wiggins. This early turnover set the tone for a dominant defensive performance that limited the Browns' offense throughout the game.

With the win, the Ravens secured the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs and will host a first-round game against either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Pittsburgh Steelers. Head coach John Harbaugh emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming postseason challenges. "I'm focused on the wild-card game, I'm not going to lie to you," Harbaugh said.

The Browns, on the other hand, finished the season with a 3-14 record, leading to potential changes in the offseason. With the loss, they secured a high draft pick, which could be pivotal in rebuilding their roster for the future.

As the Ravens prepare for the playoffs, their recent form, including a four-game winning streak, positions them as strong contenders in the AFC. The team's balanced offensive attack and resilient defense will be key factors in their pursuit of a Super Bowl championship.
