Ravens Clinch AFC North Title With 35-10 Victory Over Browns

The Baltimore Ravens secured their second consecutive AFC North division title with a decisive 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes and surpassed 4,000 passing yards for the season, while running back Derrick Henry added two fourth-quarter touchdowns, contributing to the Ravens' dominant performance.

Jackson completed 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards, finishing the regular season with 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdown passes against just four interceptions. He also added 63 rushing yards on nine carries. Henry, in his first season with the Ravens, rushed for 138 yards on 20 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He concluded the regular season with 1,921 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.

The Ravens' defense also made significant contributions, starting the game with an interception returned for a touchdown by cornerback Nate Wiggins. The defense limited the Browns to just 10 points and forced multiple turnovers, including two interceptions from quarterback Bailey Zappe. Zappe, who became the Browns' 40th starting quarterback since their return to the NFL, completed 16 of 31 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown.

With the victory, the Ravens finished the regular season with a 12-5 record, securing the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs. They will host a first-round playoff game against either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Pittsburgh Steelers. This marks the fourth division title of Jackson's career and the sixth under head coach John Harbaugh, who has been with the team since 2008.

The Browns, on the other hand, concluded their season with a 3-14 record. The team now faces an offseason that could involve significant changes, including potential coaching adjustments and the opportunity to select as high as the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

As the Ravens prepare for the postseason, they enter the playoffs on a four-game winning streak, demonstrating strong momentum. Their performance against the Browns highlighted the effectiveness of their offense and defense, setting the stage for a promising playoff run.
